1 of the 13 Grandmothers of the World : Plant Medicines, Culture and Healing

Chief Rueben George

"We preserve our ceremonies, our culture through knowledge — with those who would take the time to listen." Mona Polacca

Some knowledge can only be carried by those who have lived it, studied it, and devoted a lifetime to passing it on.

Elder Mona Polacca — Elder of the Hopi, Tewa, and Havasupai Nations and founding member of the International Council of Thirteen Indigenous Grandmothers — sits in conversation with Sundance Chief Rueben George.

Together they will explore plant medicines, healing, and what it truly means to be well — as individuals, as families, as nations and as one human family.

At Thrive we don't simply acknowledge Indigenous wisdom — we have structured ourselves around it. Not because we have all the answers, but because we believe the most important conversations are the ones we have together.

This is not a lecture. This is an invitation.
