Hold On To Your Kids

Merissa Jennings-Turner

A monthly circle for parents who want to do things differently.

We are raising children in a world none of us were prepared for.

The pace, the screens, the disconnection — and the quiet fear that we are losing something essential in our relationship with our kids before we even notice it is slipping.

Hold On To Your Kids is a monthly online circle for parents who want to do things differently. Not perfectly. Differently.

Rooted in the groundbreaking work of Dr. Gordon Neufeld whose book Hold On To Your Kids has transformed how parents and professionals around the world understand attachment, connection, and child development — this circle brings that wisdom into an honest, practical, and warmly held space.

Merissa is a therapist, filmmaker, and founder of Thrive.one. For fifteen years she has been sitting with the questions that matter most to parents, weaving together developmental psychology, Indigenous wisdom, and lived experience into spaces where real change happens. She is also the co-creator and producer of the documentary series Hold On To Your Kids — a film built on the belief that the parent-child relationship is the most important relationship of our time.

This circle is not therapy. It is not a lecture. It is a village — for parents who know they need new tools and are ready to find them together.

Come as you are. One hour. Once a month.
All are welcome.
