An Interactive Online Workshop

Every family come with a map.

It was drawn long before you arrived — shaped by the wounds, wisdom, silences, and survival of the generations before you. And without ever being handed it directly, you inherited it. It lives in the patterns you repeat, the relationships you attract, the feelings that arise without explanation, and the stories you tell yourself about who you are and what you deserve.

The more we look back to understand, the more we are free to move forward.

Your guide for this workshop is Merissa Turner — Registered Therapist specialising in attachment and intergenerational trauma, co-founder of Thrive.one, and co-creator of Hold On To Your Kids, a documentary based on the bestselling book by Dr. Gordon Neufeld, co-authored by Dr. Gabor Maté. Merissa has spent years sitting with families as they begin to see — often for the first time — how much of what they carry was never truly theirs to begin with. And what becomes possible the moment they realise that.

In this interactive workshop, we will each create our own genogram — a living map of the patterns, relationships, and stories passed down through your family line. This is not about blame. It is about seeing clearly what you inherited — and what you now have the power to change.

You can move through this quietly and privately, at your own pace. Or you can share and explore with the group — whatever feels right for you.

Because the map you draw today is not just for you.
It is the map your children will inherit.
